Speaking of Desecration
Newsweek (erroreously) reported about US troops desecrating the Koran, causing widespread rioting in the Arab world. Desecration of emotional symbols is apparently anathema to Newsweek's editors.
Except for one:
To be fair, they only ran it in their Japanese edition: the cover and the cover story never made it into the US edition. Too inflamatory, I guess, for the US readership. Wonder what was on the cover of their Arabic edition.
