That. Was. Fun.

I had the great pleasure of watching Bush's re-election in the company of many of the finest bloggers in Southern Cal. When I'm awake, I'll check the list and add anyone I forgot, but they included Patterico, xrlq, Baldilocks, Armed Liberal of Winds of Change, Tonecluster, The Pirate, DeoDuce of The Daily Spork, PrestoPundit, Master of None, Little Miss Attila, and the not-so-Angry Clam.

What a great idea, whoever had it. Pictures soon above.

UPDATE: [Mrs. Interocitor] I also wish to thank each of you folks for the pleasure of your company on a most amazing evening.

hehehe, indeed it was fun! There's nothing like yelling at the TV amidst the chitter chatter and whirr of laptops in the background. Thanks for hosting the party!

Thanks again for hosting the event. Definitely worth the trek up to Northern California.

Thanks again to you guys for opening your house to all of us!!

And what a great experience it was meeting so many bright folks!

That was an amazing experience: my husband is accustomed to spending time with people who are, as he puts it, "plugged in" culturally, but many of them are entertainment-industry left-of-center types. He found it extraordinary to be in a room full of people who are that aware politically, and from his end of the ideological spectrum. AND IT HAPPENED IN LOS ANGELES. I'm surprised we weren't all arrested.

What a great party, and thanks so much for hosting it. Naturally, the multiple televisions, big comfy armchairs, WiFi, and plentiful food enhanced the experience. And it was terrific to be among BFLers when it became apparent that Bush had won.
