Omens

First off, there was a fine lunar eclipse tonight. Traditionally this is an omen of momentous events. Let's see what we have so far:

  • Boston Red Sox win World Series. Someone buy Billy Buckner a drink.

  • Arafat is dying. In the baseball motif, Slam-a-lam-a Ding-dong!

  • The Washington Times deep sixes Kerry to the point he owes Bush an apology (as do the Russians).
Capturing Osama would wrap things up nicely, don't you think?

Don't forget the waterspouts of the coast of Southern California today. It's been a weird week. Maybe Arafat'll kick it and Kerry move to France. That would solve some problems, wouldn't it?

I have a feeling election night at the Interocitor's house is going to be tense! Hold onto your butts!
