Most Diseases Are Bush's Fault

In the past week, President Bush has been blamed for Alzheimer's, spinal injuries, AIDS, aging and now the flu. There are two weeks to go, and many of Bush's medical mistakes remain to be exposed. Some suggestions for the Kerry camp:

  • The new malaria vaccine reduces, but does not eliminate susceptibility to malaria. Since a Kerry-led administration would have done this research right and cured malaria completely, all future malaria cases are Bush's fault.

  • Many promising cancer drugs have failed their clinical trials over the past 4 years -- failures Kerry has a plan to avoid.

  • The scandalous recall of Vioxx indicates that even chronic pain is on the rise under the current regime.

  • Since the Clinton-era CDC called gun violence a disease, Bush's support for dubious constitutional "rights" is another obvious killer.

  • Most addicts who enter recovery programs soon relapse, due to more of Bush's mistakes.

  • There is still no cure for the common cold.

  • Lastly, the number of people over 100 who've died is way up under Bush, so Death, too, can be laid at Bush's feet.
Looks like another good malpractice case for Edwards.
