If only...

Baldilocks, whom I met for the first time yesterday, passes along this quote from our mutual Congresswoman.

“I have to march because my mother could not have an abortion.”

-Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif) at Anti-Bush Pro-Abortion Rally Sunday, April 25.
Another thing on my to-do list when I finish my time machine...

Hey you,

I felt guilty for laughing, but only a little bit. Then the title of your post made me do it again. Laugh, I mean.

My Tribute to Maxine Waters:

In the many years I've kept track of politics, I've known of no elected representative that could even come close to matching the sheer witlessness of this moron. For the purposes of sheer evil, there have been untold elected officials worse than Maxine; but never to my knowledge has a representative been graced with such a marked preponderance of idiocy as she.

Sometimes you just have to smile at the showcase of Maxine's insensibility. History shows that stupidity can be funny, as evidenced by the enduring popularity of the Three Stooges. Sweetly insane 'Miss Maxie' is truly without peer in government for dimnitude. In all seriousness, she should be sitting behind the courtesy desk at the Watts' DMV.

I liked her touching comments during the resignation speech of Speaker-elect Livingston (she repeatedly screamed "YOU RESIGN!!!" as he was getting to the point).
