According to WTOC in Savannah, GA:
Has school drug enforcement gone too far? A savannah mother thinks so after her 16-year-old son got suspended. Police say their drug dog smelled marijuana and cocaine on his backpack. No drugs were discovered in a search of Renard Powers backpack and person, and no one had ever suspected him of doing drugs. But when a drug dog barked at his backpack, during a routine school inspection, the student was suspended for the crime of "passive participation."
