Senator Kerry now offers tax advice to his well-heeled supporters: pay more.
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said Wednesday he will ask Americans earning more than $200,000 a year to pay the taxes they paid under President Clinton and pledged to retain the Bush tax cuts for the middle class and even add to them.It will be interesting to see if Teresa Heinz follows her husband's advice and pays up an additional 3.6% of her 2003 income. Assuming it isn't all hidden in some tax dodge. Posted by Kevin Murphy at March 10, 2004 11:59 AM | TrackBack
He needs to define "earning more than $200,000". Is this one person making $200K, or two married, middle managers in California making $100K each and barely able to buy a house?
